Tigers Sign Eight

(DETROIT, MI) – The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has agreed to terms with the following eight players on contracts for the 2011 season: righthanded pitchers Lester Oliveros, Jose Ortega and Brayan Villarreal, lefthanded pitchers Duane Below, Phil Coke and Charlie Furbush, first baseman/outfielder Ryan Strieby and infielder Audy Ciriaco.

With eight players agreeing to terms today, the Tigers now have 25 players on the club’s 40-man roster under contract for the 2011 season.
