(WINDSOR, ON) – Thursday night, the Windsor Clippers improved to 11-3-0 in OJBLL action after a 23-6 win over the London Blue Devils at Forest Glade Arena. The Clippers were led in scoring by a five-goal performance from Brayden Mayea and a four-goal, eight-point night from veteran Chase Kavanaugh.
Blain Wallace scored a hat-trick for Windsor. Alex Mayhead, James Morgan, Brendan Wallace, and Jackman Schooley tallied twice, while Jake Rosa, Noah Bushnell, and Drew Denomey sniped once. Rosa also added six helpers.
For London, Eric Lave scored three times, while Quincy Abram, Sean Campbell, and Owen Dale picked up single markers.
Chase Cosgrove snapped up the technical win in net for the Clippers, improving his record to 3-0-0 and stopping 10 of 11 chances, while Liam Tomes turned aside eight in relief. At the other end, Marquez Stonefish and Joseph Boehm split the game, getting peppered with 81 shots.
The Clippers are next in action this Thursday as they host the Point Edward Pacers at 8pm at Forest Glade.
