Clippers Torch Devils

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers avenged a loss to the Red Devils last week with a strong performance at Forest Glade Arena on Thursday night. The Clippers torched the Red Devils for 21 goals on route to a 21 to 10 win. Last week the Red Devils edged the Clippers in Wallaceburg 12-11, but the Clippers were no match for for the Red Devils tonight.

It took just 9 seconds for the Jeff Rivait to open the scoring for the Clippers, his first of five goals on the evening. Brett Hickey scored three times and added nine assists to lead all Clippers in points. Hickey now has 47 points in 6 games and leads the western conference in scoring.

Hunter Bushnell, Steve Hinek  and Travis Boomer scored three times each, Adam Moore and Brendon Anger each added a pair and Trevor Learn chipped in with a single.

Brenson Stevenson recorded the win in goal for Windsor.

The Clippers will host the Owen Sound North Stars on Saturday night at Forest Glade Arena. Game time is 7:00 pm.
