Clippers Pound Pacers

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers rebounded nicely Sunday night in Sarnia with a 14-4 victory over the Pacers. The Clippers turned in a poor performance at home Saturday night with a 12-9 loss to London, but got right back to work in Sarnia. The Clippers jumped out to a 8-0 first period lead and cruised the rest of the way for the victory.

Corey Burchell led the Clippers attack with 4 goals. Brett Hickey chipped in with three while Jeff Rivait and Steve Hinek adding a pair and singles went to Nathan Hodgins, Devin Humphrey and Lucas Ducharme. Kyle May recorded the win in goal stopping 32 of 36 shots.

Next up for the Clippers is a trip to Wallaceburg on Wednesday night to face the Red Devils. The Clippers lead the season series 2-1.

The Clippers will then return home for a Saturday night match-up with the Niagara Thunderhawks. Game time at Forest Glade Arena is 7:00 pm.
