Clippers Bow To Regals

(WINDSOR, ON) – It’s like ground hog day all over again. The Clippers jump out to a four goal lead and promptly give it back for their fifth straight loss. Tonight the loss was at the hands of the Guelph Regals, who will also be the opposition in the first round of the playoffs.

The Clippers jumped out to an 8-4 lead in the second period before giving up five straight goals to relinquish the lead for good, falling 12-10. Jeff Rivait scored four goals for the Clippers while Graham Adams and Corey Burchell added a pair. Brett Hickey and Devin Humphrey scored once each to round out the Clippers scoring. Kyle May took the loss in goal for the Clippers.

The Clippers will close out the regular season in London on Sunday night. Game time is 7:00 pm.  The playoffs will open next weekend with the Clippers hosting game one of the best of five series on Saturday night at Forest Glade Arena. Game time is 7:00 pm.
