Clippers Take 2-0 Series Lead

(GUELPH, ON) – The Windsor Clippers have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead in their best of five western conference quarter final series with the Guelph Regals. The Clippers defeated the Regals Sunday night 11-10 in a feisty battle in Guelph. Game three in the series comes back to Windsor next Saturday night when the Clippers will have a chance to close out the series on their home floor.

Jeff Rivait scored four goals to lead the Clippers, while Brett Hickey chipped in with a pair of goals and singles were added by Gianni Martinello, Matt Martinello, Alex Seguin, Brendon Anger and Trevor Learn. Brendan Stevenson recorded the win in goal for the Clippers.

Game three of the series will be played at Forest Glade Arena next Saturday night at 7:00 pm
