(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers had an opportunity to close out their playoff series with a sweep on their home floor Saturday night, but it was not meant to be on this night. The Guelph Regals won 11-8.

Guelph led 4-2 after the first period, but the Clippers came back to even the affair at 6-6 after 40 minutes. The Regals out-scored Windsor 5-2 in the final frame to claim the win. Game four of the series will be played Sunday night in Guelph at 7:00 pm. Should a fifth and deciding game be required it will be played in Windsor at Forest Glade Arena at 8:00pm.

Corey Burchell led the Clippers with three goals. Singles were scored by Travis Boomer, Steve Hinek, Matt Martinello, Brendon Anger and Alex Seguin. Brendan Stevenson suffered the loss in goal for the Clippers.
