Clippers Season Ends

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers Lacrosse season came to a close on Saturday night with a loss to the Six Nations Rebels. The 26-1 Rebels defeated the Clippers 17-5 to take the series 3-0 and advance to the western conference finals against the Elora Mohawks.

Scoring for Windsor were Brett Hickey, Steve Hinek, Brendon Anger, Adam Moore and Cameron Rogers. Kyle May went the distance in goal for the Clippers and recorded the loss.

Tonight’s loss was the final game for several of the Clippers players. Graduating from the program are #4 John Nowicki, #5 Chris Ziriada, #8 Devin Humphrey, #11 Brett Hickey, #12 Graham Adams, #14 Steve Hinek, #15 Corey Burchell, #19 Adam Moore, #20 Justin Willson, #21 Travis Boomer, #24 Lucas Brouillard and #51 Brendan Stevenson. The Clippers organization wishes all of these graduates the best of luck with their future endeavours.
