Lambton Shores Preys On Flyers

(FOREST, ON) – Goalie Justin Tugwell stood on his head to help the Predators win  5-1 over the Leamington Flyers. This was Tugwell’s first time in net for the Predators. “It was a very good game for Tugwell. He played outstanding. We had a lot of penalties and Tugwell came through for us.  A lot of the calls we had were questionable” said Head Coach Mark Davis.

Predators Captain Adam Arsenault led the way with the first goal of the period at 5:43.

Trevor Ladd earned a shorthanded  goal for the Predators in the remaining five seconds of the first period to make it 2-0 Predators.

Predators Brett Thompson scored on a penalty shot  followed by a goal from Kyle Brothers with 38 seconds remaining in the second period. 4-1 Predators.  Trevor Ladd earned his second goal of the night at 19:15 of the third period to end the game at 5-1.

The only Flyer goal was scored by Brett Babkirk.
