Preds Skate To Lazy Win

By Gail Cook

(OWEN SOUND, ON) – Brendon Merritt lead the Predators to a 6-2 win over Owen Sound in an out of Conference game.  Scoringing the Predators other goals were Trevor Ladd, Ryan Trottier, Corey Pawley, Kody Ryan, and Kyle Brothers with a powerplay goal.

Brendon Merritt had a four point night.

Goaltender Justin Tugwell made eleven saves, while Brandon Campbell had nineteen saves.

“We played an okay game. We went up two to one and came out lazy in the second period,” said Head Coach, Mark Davis. “I was happy we got our legs for the third period but not happy with the way we won. I guess it’s two points on a long road trip.”
