Vipers’ Forward Recognized By League

(LaSALLE, ON) – LaSalle Vipers’ forward Ryan Speers has been named the Jr. B Western Conference “Player of the Month” for the month of December 2011.

So far this season, in 26 games, Ryan has amassed 33 points – 18 goals and 15 assists.

The award will be presented on Wednesday Jan. 11 in a pre-game ceremony before the Vipers take on the Sarnia Legionnaires at 7pm at the Vollmer Centre.

Less than a week later, all eyes will be on the Vollmer Centre on Monday January 16th when it plays host venue to the most highly anticipated league-wide events: the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Prospects game.

Vipers’ forward Dylan Denomme and defenseman Scott Prier have been selected to participate in the Prospects game.

Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to Knobby’s Kids youth hockey program.
