Preds Pull Within Two

By Gail Cook

(ST MARY’S, ON) – Corey Pawley had two goals and two assists and Jake Carter had two goals of his own as the Lambton Shores Predators held on for a wild 8-7 win at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.

The win leaves the Predators just two points behind the Chatham Maroons for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

“It was a thrilling game tonight and our boys got it done,” Roop Chanderdat, Lambton Shores President and General Manager said.  “The team knew our playoff life was at stake and were determined to come out with a victory.  Lots of guys contributed offensively and Corey Pawley was great tonight.”

The Predators return to the ice in front of the home crowd as they welcome the Lasalle Vipers to the Shores Recreation Centre.
