Fifth Win Draws Preds Even

By Gail Cook

(LONDON, ON) – The Lambton Shores Predators won their 5th in a row in a hard-fought 6-4 battle.

Cale Duberry and Ryan Rotondi each potted two goals in the winning effort and Corey Pawley added a goal and two assists of his own.

“All four lines competed for 60 minutes,” Assistant Coach Doug Slipacoff said. “We played, for the most part disciplined in our system. Our strength extended from our goaltending to our defence to our forwards. We couldn’t be prouder of the way our guys are battling down the stretch.”

The win moves the Predators into a tie for the last playoff spot with the Chatham Maroons and sets up a huge showdown on Saturday as they host the Maroons on home ice.

The puck drops at The Shores Recreation Centre at 7:30.
