Predators Drop To 0-3

(FOREST, ON) – The Lambton Shores on the ropes being down two games came out strong battling for their first win against the first place Sarnia Legionnaires.

The Predators opened opened the scoring in the first period with a powerplay goal from Adan Arseneault at 13:51 assisted by Tanner Ferguson to make it 1-0. The Legionnaires came back to score three unanswered goals to end the first period 3-1 Legionnaires.

Sarnia would control the second period with 3 unanswered goals to end the second period to end the second period 6-1.

The Predators played hard in the third to net two goals. Tanner Ferguson and Ryan Rontondi would score to end the game 6-3 Sarnia.

“We played hard but their experience took over going into the third. All I ask was to win the third period and we did. I am very proud of our guys. Not a very class act on the part of the Sarnia Fans or whoever through out the broom among other things” said Head Coach Mark Davis.

The next game is tonight at the Shores Recreation centre. Start time is 7:30 pm.
