Brawlers Drop Two In Toledo

(TOLEDO, ON) – Border City Brawlers, Windsor’s only women’s flat-track roller derby league, attended the Mid-West Derby Girl Summit hosted by Toledo’s Glass City Roller Girls last night.

Four teams played hard in the 4-bout tournament. The Border City Brawlers battled more established teams in both bouts they played.

In the initial bout the Border City Brawlers played the Sandusky Rollergirls losing by 42 points with a final score of 82-40.

In the Brawlers’ second bout they fought hard against the Roller Girls of Central Kentucky in which the Brawlers initially started out ahead only to lose in a heart-breaking loss 133-85.
