Clippers Drop Weekend Duo

By Carl Humphrey

(WINDSOR, ON) – The young Windsor Clippers took to the road again this weekend for a pair of games, and came out on the short end of both affairs. While outplaying and out shooting their opponents in both games, untimely penalties and unforced turnovers have given the Clippers a lesson on just how much work they will need to put in to become successful.

The Clippers lost on Friday night to the Hamilton Bengals 13-11 and on Saturday night dropped a 12-11 decision to the Niagara Thunderhawks.

Up next for the Clippers is a trip to Wallaceburg on Wednesday night to face the red hot Wallaceburg Red Devils.

The Clippers will finally be playing their home opener on Saturday, May 12th against the Elora Mohawks. Game time on the 12th is 7:00 pm at Forest Glade Arena
