Clippers Get Pounded

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers playoff hopes took a turn for the worse on Tuesday night as the London Blue Devils put a beating on the Clippers 14-8. The loss leaves the Clippers with a 9-8 record on the season and currently in ninth place in the western conference. Fortunately for the Clippers they are still alive with three games remaining in the schedule, and just two points back of the last playoff spot

Tyler McDowall scored three goals for the Clippers, while Andrew Tyrrell added a pair. Singles were scored by Logan Holmes, Jeff Rivait and Hunter Bushnell.Kyle May took the loss in goal for the Clippers.

Next up for the Clippers is a visit from the Wallaceburg Red Devils on Friday night. Game time at Forest Glade Arena is 8:00 pm. On Saturday the Clippers will host the Welland Warlords. Game time Saturday night is 7:00 pm
