Canada Wins Bronze

the 3m synchronized diving event at the London aquatic centre.

The 30 year-old Heymans, from St-Lambert, QC, is the first female diver to medal in four consecutive Olympic games. She won a silver in 2000, a bronze in 2004, and a silver in 2008, in addition to this year’s bronze.

Canada’s Chef de Mission, Mark Tewksbury, said the duo’s medal winning performance, coming so early in the competition, was “inspirational” for the rest of the Canadian contingent.
