Clippers Year-End Awards

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers held their annual awards banquet tonight, and below is a list of the 2012 winners:

  • M.V.P. (sponsored by WWMLA) – Jeff Rivait
  • LEADING SCORER: 2012 – Lucas Ducharme (33g, 43a, 76pts, 6 pim)
  • BEST OFFENSE PLAYER – Brendon Anger
  • BEST DEFENSE PLAYER – Kenny Greer
  • LORI COX MEMORIAL AWARD FOR MOST DEDICATED PLAYER – Kenny Greer
  • MOST SPORTSMANLIKE PLAYER – Ryan Marchand
  • MOST IMPROVED PLAYER– Mark Rivait
  • DON DUCHARME MEMORIAL AWARD FOT THE UNSUNG HERO – Bryan Larocque
  • ROOKIE OF THE YEAR – Lucas Ducharme

As well as winning the team rookie of the year and the team scoring championship, Lucas Ducharme was also named the OLA Western Conference Rookie of the Year.

The Clippers must also say good-bye to graduating players Kenny Greer and Tyler McDowall. The Clippers Lacrosse club wish both players great success in their future endeavours.
