Windsor Fares Well At International Competition

(WINDSOR, ON) – Riverside’s Competitive Skaters travelled to Thornhill August 16, 17, and 18 to compete at the Figure Skating Boutique Summer Skate 2012. Traditionally Thornhill is a challenging competition for clip_image001local skaters as competitors flock from arenas around the world. This year competitors hailed from South Africa, Australia, Northern and Southern Europe, Asia, and North America.

Riverside skaters had respectable finishes in all areas of the field. Alyssa D’Asti who competed in the Pre Novice division placed 3rd with a score of 62.60. Brianna Clarkson, who placed 7th at Canada’s Junior Nationals in 2012, placed 4th with a score of 94.53.
