Express Paying It Forward

(WINDSOR, ON) – The CEO of the Windsor Express, Dartis Willis, announced today that the team has slam-dunked Random Acts of Kindness Day.

The Express will allow children under the age of 13 entry to basketball games for free throughout the 2012-2013 season.

Willis said, “I was thrilled by the excitement in the children’s faces during our home opener. They deserve the opportunity to experience professional basketball in their town.” He continued, “Our act of kindness can only be measured by those that join us in an attempt to support the greater Windsor-Essex community to provide a lasting impact.”

“Bringing professional basketball to Windsor has raised the competitiveness at all levels in addition to satiating local basketball aficionados,” said Royal Church, advisor and invaluable asset to the Windsor Express.

The season long special is valid for 1 child, 13 or younger, per each paid adult for seating in sections P3 and above. The special starts tomorrow, on Random Acts of Kindness Day at 10AM. Tickets may be picked up in person at the WFCU Centre box office, 8787 McHugh Street, Windsor throughout the season.

Windsor’s next home game will be 16 November at 7pm against Summerside Storm on College Night, then again for the Mascot’s birthday on Sunday, the 18th at 2PM.

College and High school students can get tickets at 2 for $20 for attendance to both games.

St.Clair College has sponsored the Smart Section in the arena in which St.Clair College fans will show their support. High school students are welcomed into the Dancin’ and Dunkin’ section currently being sponsored by Windsor Express.
