More Medals For Riverside Skating

(WINDSOR, ON) – Riverside Skating Club sent their competitive team of 14 skaters to Paris, Ontario this past weekend to compete in Skate Canada’s Western Section Championship.

Juvenile skater Rubie Diemer earned a silver medal.

In a field of 43 skaters across Western Ontario’s Section, Alison Schumacher and Alyssa D’Asti earned silver and bronze medals respectively. Both skaters qualified for Skate Canada’s Challenge being held in Regina, Saskatchewan Dec 5-9, 2012.

Other performances included top ten showings in three of four divisions.

Pre-Juvenile Under 11

  • Lauren Renshaw, 4th place
  • Ainsley Fabel, 10th place
  • Kira McManus, 20th place
  • Emma Yaworski, 23th place

Pre-Juvenile Under 14

  • Diana Speal, 15th place
  • Madison Wilson, 17th place

Juvenile Under 11

  • Jessica Taylor 8th place
