Express Break Losing Streak

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express won last night’s rematch against the Summerside Storm by a score of 97 – 93.

The top scorers in the win for the Express were Mike Helms with 20 points and 7 assists, Anthony Johnson with 16 points and Greg Surmacz with 15 points.

At the end of the first two quarters the Express led 30 – 29 and 54 – 46 respectively. The Storm out-scored the Express in the third quarter 30 – 26, but still trailed by 4 at the buzzer. An even fourth saw the game end with the Express on top for their second win of the season against three losses.

The Express now embark on a five-game east coast swing with the next game taking place on the 23rd against the St. John Millrats in New Brunswick. The game will be broadcast via livestream through NBL Canada at 7pm.

The Express will return home on 14 December when they host Moncton followed the next night by Montreal. Both game times are 7PM at the WFCU Centre.
