Lightening Strikes Twice

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Express looked promising as they trailed the League Champions by only three points in the third quarter; not enough to stop the reigning champs. The final score was 100-87 in London’s favour.

The Express netted their second loss to last year’s champions, the London Lightning.

Windsor came out strong in the first quarter outscoring the Lightning by 8 points. The Lightning gained a lead the express couldn’t shake in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Windsor managed to get a second wind in the 4th quarter playing tough defence and out shooting the Lightning by 10 points but, their hard effort was too late.

Mike Helms led the team with 22 points followed by Kevin Loiselle with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Commons racked up 14.
