Vipers Take Home The Hardware

(LaSALLE, ON) – LaSalle Vipers’ forwards Korey Morgan, Dylan Denomme and defenceman Scott Prier were all winners at the GOJHL Western Conference Award Banquet held in London Monday night.

Vipers’ defenceman Scott Prier won the Phibbs Inc. Award for Western Conference Most Outstanding Defenceman and was selected as Western Conference First Team All Star. This season Prier was also the recipient of the Western Conference Defenseman of the Month for January and was selected to participate in the GOJHL Western Conference All Star Game.

Forward Korey Morgan was the recipient of the Southland Insurance Award for Top Rookie Scorer in the Western Conference. Morgan had 60 points during the regular season.

Also gaining recognition from the Vipers was Dylan Denomme, who was selected as Western Conference First Team All Star and nominated for league MVP. Along with Prier, Denomme was also selected to participate in the GOJHL Western Conference All Star Game and was the recipient of the Western Conference Offensive Player of the Month for October.

The Vipers will open the Round 1 quarter final series tonight night in Lasalle at 7:10 pm against the Strathroy Rockets.
