St Joe’s Brings Home The Hardware

(WINDSOR, ON) – On March 5th 2013 Skate Canada Western Ontario Section hosted the 2013 Skate Canada –Western Ontario High School Skating Invitational Competition, in Aylmer, ON.

Twenty-three high schools from across Western Ontario competed in the event. The invitational is a team competition, in which skaters compete in individual and team events, earning team points that determine an overall high school team winner. Medals and a team trophy are awarded.

Windsor’s own St. Joseph’s High School (St. Joseph’s Lasers) made up of five skaters were crowned the 2013 Champions.  School’s teacher representative, Suzanne Fetter, will be taking the championship trophy to St. Joseph’s High School today.  The team was coached by Jen Jackson.
