(WINDSOR, ON) – There was a Power failure in Oshawa last night as the Windsor Express shot out the lights on their way to a 101-65 victory in an NBL of Canada match-up at the General Motors Centre.
Leading the team with his 12th double-double of the season was Kevin Loiselle. The Montreal native tossed 12 points and 12 rebounds as well as adding 4 assists on the strength of 35 minutes.
Windsor’s Stefan Bonneau led all players with 20 points as he went 5-8 from outside the arc. It is noteworthy that Bonneau scored more than two points for every minute (19) he was on the hardwood.
Point guard Darren Duncan dropped in 14 points and added 4 steals, and three other Express players scored in the double digits as Windsor won its fourth game in a row, rising to over .500 (19-18) for just the second time this season. Windsor is the hottest team in the NBL with 9 wins in their last 11 games.
The winning streak comes at the right time as the victory vaults Windsor into second place in the Central Division and just one game behind Moncton for second over all.
Windsor’s next game is this Friday at home against the London Lightning in a renewal of the Hwy 401 Rivalry.
