Clippers Fine Tune Squad

(WINDSOR, ON) The Windsor Clippers went 3-0 for the day at the Oakville Buzz, pre-season tournament, on Saturday, at the beautiful Toronto Rock Athletic Centre.

The Clippers opened the day with a 6-2 victory over the home team Oakville Buzz. In the second game of the day the Clippers defeated the Halton Hills Bulldogs 9-4, and then closed out the perfect day with an 8-6 victory over the Mississauga Tomahawks.

With five regulars sitting out of the line-up, the coaching staff had a chance to give some of the young guys an opportunity to gain valuable experience, prior to next Saturday’s season opener.

The opening day 23-man roster is now set. The Clippers home opener is Saturday, May 4th against the Guelph Regals. Game time is 7:00 pm at Forest Glade Arena. Tickets are $7 for Adults, $5 for Seniors, Students and Alumni. Children under 12 are FREE.
