(WINDSOR, ON) – Windsor Clippers defender Joshua Jubenville is the first recipient of the Windsor Crossing Clipper of the Week.

Jubenville earned the honour for his play from April 29 through May 5. During that stretch, he had no points and 4 penalty minutes, but more importantly was outstanding on defence. In two games the tenacious Joshua Jubenville, #3 for the Windsor Clippers.Jubenville scooped up 13 loose balls and had several big hits, earning special teams time on the ball team and penalty kill.

The 16-year-old rookie from Windsor played his first Junior B game on May 4th against the Guelph Regals. At 5’9″ and 175 pounds the truculent young Clipper has already earned the respect of his team-mates for his rockem sockem in your face style of play. “Jubes” is fast becoming a fan favourite.

Jubenville and the Clippers will welcome in the Brampton Excelsiors to Forest Glade Arena this Saturday night, where it will be Windsor Fire and Rescue night. Game time is 7:00 pm. On Sunday the Clippers will travel to London to take on the Blue Devils in a Far West Division rivalry game.
