Detroit Grand Prix, Kid Rock Team Up

By Merrill Cain

(DETROIT, MI) – The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix has partnered with “Made In Detroit” to offer a unique ticket and t-shirt package, and the partnership will also create some great prizes for fans of Detroit’s own Kid Rock.

Through the unique promotion, fans can purchase a reserved grandstand ticket to either Saturday, June 1 or Sunday, June 2 at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and receive a limited-edition “Made In Detroit” t-shirt for only $45. With only 375 ticket packages available per day this is a very limited offer for fans that have yet to buy their tickets to the Fastest Weekend of the Summer at the Grand Prix, May 31-June 2. With unique designs and a Motor City flair from its founder, Kid Rock, “Made In Detroit” has established itself as a locally-based, but nationally known, clothing manufacturer.

In addition to the ticket package,” Made In Detroit” and the Grand Prix are offering fans a chance to win two reserved grandstand tickets to the Kid Rock concert at DTE Energy Music Theatre on August 10 and a guitar signed by Kid Rock.  No purchase is necessary to win the “Made In Detroit” Sweepstakes and it is open to all fans from now until Monday, June 3 at 12:00 pm ET. To learn more and to register, visit www.DetroitGP.com/MIDSweepstakes.

“’Made In Detroit’ is such a great brand and we are proud to partner with them to create this unique ticket offer and sweepstakes for fans,” said Bud Denker, Chairman of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.  “Just like our event and Kid Rock, ‘Made In Detroit’ is proud of its heritage in the Motor City and we want to see as many fans as possible wearing their t-shirts on Belle Isle and cheering on their favourite drivers at the Grand Prix.”
