Windsor Clips Wallaceburg

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers improved to 9-1 on the season with a 19-11 victory over the arch rival Wallaceburg Red Devils. The Red Devils drop to 6-4 on the season.

The 9-1 start by the Clippers is a franchise best, and the Clippers are currently enjoying an eight game winning streak.. The only blemish on the Clippers record is a loss to the defending champion Six Nations Rebels.

Jarred Riley, Brendon Anger and Bryan Larocque each scored four times for the Clippers. Jeff Rivait added a pair while singles were scored by Josh Jubenville, Andrew Garant, Ryan Marchand, Trevor Learn, and Hunter Bushnell. Cooper Cecile and Mike Cameron shared the goaltending duties for the win.

The game featured the usual Wallaceburg-Windsor shenanigans, and a re-match next Wednesday back in the Burg is sure to be entertaining.

Next up for the Clippers is a visit from the Niagara Thunderhawks this Saturday night at Forest Glade Arena. Game time is 7:00 pm
