Cycling For Hope

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – On Saturday, September 7, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Chatham-Kent Fire Department, Chatham-Kent Medavie EMS, and Chatham-Kent OPP will be participating in the 2nd annual CYCLING FOR HOPE bicycle ride in support of cancer research. This is a 20, 40, or 60 km ride that is open to all who wish to participate.

The ride will start at the Union Gas building located at 555 Riverview Drive in Chatham. Registration starts at 8:00 am and the event will promptly begin at 8:30 am.

Cyclists will travel west on Riverview Road to Tecumseh Line, then into Lakeshore to Lighthouse Cove. Signs will be posted along the route for all cyclists to follow.

Registration is $50 per adult and $25 for children 12 and under. Those wishing to register as a family may do so for $100.

Registration fees will be waived with a minimum of $100 in individual, or $200 in family, donations.

For the safety of all cyclists, Helmets are mandatory.
