Canadiens-Admirals Game Moved To Amherstburg

(BELLE RIVER, ON) – The Belle River Canadiens pre-season home-and-home series against the Amherstburg Admirals has been rescheduled.

The game originally scheduled for tonight at Lakeshore Arena has been moved, due to ice conditions, to the United Communities Credit Union Complex located at 3295 Meloche Road in Amherstburg. Game time is 8:00 pm.

The series will conclude with the Canadiens final pre-season game Sunday, September 8 against the Admirals at Lakeshore Arena. The game is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

The Canadiens tied their pre-season opener 3-3 against the Wheatley Sharks at Lakeshore Arena.

The regular season begins Friday, September 13 at home against the Alvinston Flyers. The puck will drop on the 2013-14 season of Canadiens hockey at 7:30 pm.

The Belle River Canadiens Junior C Hockey team is based in the Lakeshore Community Arena in Belle River. Notable alumni include Tie Domi, Steve Ott, Bob Boughner, D.J. Smith, Alek Stojanov, Derek Wilkinson and Marcel Pronovost.
