Windsor Skaters Tune Up At Paris Competition

(PARIS, ON) – Skaters from every corner of Ontario, and from as far away as Japan, flocked to Paris, this past weekend to compete in the annual Isabelle Henderson skating competition.

The figure skaters are making final changes on their solo performances in preparation for the Western Ontario Sectional Championships being held this November in Niagara Falls.

Western Sectional competition will qualify the top four figure skaters in Senior, Novice, and Pre-Novice who will proceed to compete nationally in Regina.

Junior

  • Molly Ghanam, 7th place

Novice

  • Alison Schumacher, 1st place
  • Alyssa D’Asti, 4th place
  • Jaime Nicholson, 9th place

Pre Novice

  • Jessica Taylor, 8th place

Pre Juvenile

  • Lauren Renshaw, 4th place

Pre Juvenile

  • Ainsley Fabel, 2nd place

Pre Juvenile

  • Jonathan Guo, 2nd place

Star Skate Junior Bronze

  • Diana Speal, 14th place
