Four Lancers Named To OUA All-Star Teams

By Jessica Barrett

(HAMILTON, ON) – Windsor’s Evan Pszczonak, of Amherstburg, was named to the OUA’s first team offence.

A fourth-year inside receiver, Pszczonak picked up the slack left from the absence of graduated senior Jordan Brescacin, and grabbed 42 receptions to average 92.3 yards per game.

Fifth-year punter Dan Cerino, from Stoney Creek, represents the Windsor Lancers on the second team. He posted 3,052 punting yards with a long kick of 69 in his final OUA season.

Turning to the second team defence, tackle Tai Pham, of London, and linebacker Akeem Whonder, from Mississauga, also represent the Windsor Lancers.

Windsor native, linebacker Pawel Kruba, of the Western Mustangs defensive unit, was also named to the first team all-stars. Kruba wreaked havoc on opposing offences as he shared in 65 tackles.
