Windsor Steals Mississauga’s Power

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express were able to throw off Friday’s malaise and extend a modest winning streak to two games as they defeated the Mississauga Power 108-101, Saturday at home.

Windsor’s Quinnel Brown led all scoring with 24 points and added in 8 rebounds, a block and two steals. Starting guards Stephan Bonneau and Papa Oppong each contributed 23 points plus a combined 12 rebounds and 8 steals.

Head coach Bill Jones had a short bench Saturday evening, with just three substitutes available to play. Led by Kevin Loiselle, the subs contributed 15 points and 12 rebounds in 49 minutes.

The Express will next face the Ottawa Skyhawks on Friday, December 27 at home. Tip-off is at 7:00 pm.
