(MISSISSAUGA, ON) – For the third time in a week, the Windsor Express (17-7) dismantled the Mississauga Power (7-19), this time 105-87 at the Hershey Centre on Wednesday night.

Windsor busted out of the gate, outscoring the Power 24-17 after the first quarter and taking a 51-39 lead into the half.

The game was a perfect example of how these two teams have been trending recently. Windsor has won six of their last seven contests, while the Power fell for the 10th straight time,

It was a historic night for Windsor’s Chris Commons, who had 19 points. He eclipsed the 1,000 point mark as a member of the Windsor Express and is the first player to do so in franchise history.

Dominique Buckley set off on his best performance during his brief time in Windsor, dropping 19 points also, thanks to 5-for-8 shooting from behind the three point line.

The Express have a unique challenge ahead of them tomorrow, as they will fly to Moncton, NB to play the same night against the red-hot Miracles, who are winners of six straight.

Windsor will return home for a Saturday night affair with the Ottawa Skyhawks at 7:00 pm on January 11.

Tickets are available at the TekSavvy Box Office in the WFCU Centre or by phone at 1-866-969-WFCU.
