Express Extend Winning Streak To Four

(MONCTON, NB) – The Windsor Express put a stop to Moncton’s six game winning streak with a last second defensive stand, pulling out a 93-91 win in New Brunswick.

Windsor (18-7) shot better than 52% from the field in the second half, 46% for the game, extending their winning streak to four games.

Quinnel Brown continued his dominance of the Atlantic Division this season, adding 21 points and seven rebounds, while Darren Duncan dropped 20, including a number of key baskets and free throws in the 4th quarter.

Chris Commons sported a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.

The Express went into the half up 45-40, but Moncton chipped away in the 3rd and 4th quarters, as the teams traded leads throughout the second half.

Windsor travels home today to prepare for a Central Division battle with the Ottawa Skyhawks on Saturday, January 11 at 7:00 pm.

As announced yesterday, kids 13 and under get in free with an adult for the rest of the regular season games played at the WFCU Centre.
