(LaSALLE, ON) – LaSalle Vipers defenseman Austin Hall will be presented with the Mickey Renaud Award in a pre-game ceremony tomorrow evening at the Vollmer Centre.

Given annually to the Sun County AAA graduate from the previous season who best displays leadership, dedication, and determination on and off the ice, the award was created after the untimely death of Mickey Renaud in 2008.

Mickey, a graduate of the Sun County Panthers and Tecumseh Chiefs, was the captain of the Windsor Spitfires when he tragically succumbed to a rare heart condition.

Mark Renaud, Mickey’s father, will present the award to Austin.

Join Austin and the Vipers for this very special pre-game ceremony, followed by our regular season game against the Strathroy Rockets. Game time is 7:00 pm.
