Coaching Staff In Place For Clippers Season

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers are pleased to announce their new coaching staff for the 2014 season.

The new head coach will be Jerry Kavanaugh. Jerry has been coaching in the Windsor Minor Lacrosse system for the last 10 years. In that time period he has led teams to two Provincial championships and eight zone championships.

Mr Kavanaugh was named the 2009 zone 7 coach of the year. He has also served as the Windsor Minor Lacrosse President since 2007. Mr Kavanaugh played his Junior ball for the Sarnia Pacers, where he earned the best defensive player award.

Joining Kavanaugh will be Barry Garant and Dan Jaworski. Garant has coached the past 13 seasons in the Windsor Minor Lacrosse system and played his Junior ball with the Windsor Warlocks.

Dan Jaworski has coached minor Lacrosse and Hockey in Windsor since 1996. Dan played Junior A and B Lacrosse for the Windsor Warlocks.

The strength, conditioning and training staff of Dave Orton, Ryan Carlone, and Andrew Ryckman will return to continue their good work with the club. Dale Hodgins will be the equipment manager, and Mike Soulliere will return as the team’s General Manager.
