Express Streak Snapped At 12

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express’ record winning streak has ended at the hands of the Brampton A’s.

Brampton (23-11) outscored Windsor 34-25 in the fourth quarter, snapping the streak at 12 and taking a 101-96 victory, at the WFCU Centre, Sunday afternoon.

The Express (26-8) doubled the A’s out of the gate, taking a 31-15 lead after the first quarter but had a tenuous halftime lead of 46-43.

After a 25-24 advantage in the third, Windsor let the fourth slip away, and cutting their Central Division lead over Brampton to just three games.

Both teams have six games remaining in the regular season.

Quinnel Brown led Windsor with a game high 22 points and Stefan Bonneau followed nicely with 21 of his own. DeAndre Thomas had a game high 10 rebounds.

Windsor’s next action is Thursday, February 20 in Mississauga against the 9-28 Power. They return home to face the Atlantic Division-leading Saint John Mill Rats on Friday, February 21 at 7:00 pm at the WFCU Centre.
