Express Win Division Title

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express have won the 2013-2014 NBL Central Division.

Windsor used a 58-point second quarter, on Sunday, to blast Brampton 106-87, and clinching top spot in the division with the best overall record in the National Basketball League of Canada.

Darren Duncan had 22 points and 13 assists, while Quinnel Brown contributed 21 points in the victory.

The Express (28-9) held an 11 point lead at halftime and kept it going, outscoring Brampton (23-13) 31-19 in the third quarter.

Windsor travels to Ottawa today and Brampton on tomorrow, as they finish the road portion of their regular season.

The final home game of the regular season is this Friday at the WFCU Centre against the Ottawa Skyhawks. Tip-off is 7:00 pm.
