Windsor Sweeps Mississauga

(MISSISSAUGA, ON) – The Windsor Express have won their first playoff series in franchise history.

Windsor took a 38-18 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, as they cruise to a 129-107 victory over the Mississauga Power, in Game 3 of the NBL Quarterfinal series.

The Express win the series 3-0 and will face the winner of the Brampton/London series in a best-of-7 Central Division Final.

Stefan Bonneau dropped a game high 33, one of seven Express players to score in double digits. Kevin Loiselle had 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Chris Commons and George Goode added 14 points each.

Windsor sported a 72-45 lead at halftime and kept the Power at bay, not letting their lead drop past 14 points in the second half.

Playoff dates for the Semi-finals have not been announced, but tickets will go on sale today at 10:00 am.

Windsor will have home court advantage in the Semis, hosting Games 1, 2, 5, and 7 at the WFCU Centre.
