The fourth year Lancer had a tremendous weekend for the Windsor women’s basketball team as they claimed their fourth straight CIS national title. Williams had two double-doubles over the weekend, and was a persistent presence on the court.

In the opening game, Korissa had 10 points and 10 rebounds in Windsor’s dominating 81-53 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks.

In the semi-finals vs Fraser Valley, Williams had a team-high 11 rebounds to help the Blue & Gold advance to the CIS final for the fifth consecutive year as they defeated the Cascades 65-45.

In the final against Saint Mary’s, Korissa was once again a force to be reckoned with as she had the game’s only double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds as Windsor earned their fourth straight title and second on home court, with a 71-45 win.
