(LONDON, ON) – Darren Duncan scored a double-double with a season high 28 points and 10 rebounds as Windsor took a must-win game, 93-81 over London at Budweiser Gardens last night.

The road team has won each game of this best-of-7 NBL semi-final series, with the Lightning advantage cut to 2 to 1.

Quinnel Brown had 18 for the Express and Papa Oppong played some huge minutes off the bench, posting 12 points on 4 for 7 shooting from the field.

In another tightly contested game between these two Highway 401 rivals, Windsor pulled away in a 30-17 4th Quarter. London possessed a five-point lead at halftime, but Windsor chipped away in the third, bringing the deficit to just one point by the start of the final frame.

Game 4 of the series will be played on Sunday, March 23rd at Budweiser Gardens at 2:00 pm.

Windsor’s win now guarantees a Game 5 at the WFCU Centre, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 pm.

Tickets for that game will go on sale at 10:00am tomorrow. You can purchase tickets at the TekSavvy Box Office in the WFCU Centre or by phone at 1-866-969-WFCU.
