By Matt Dumouchelle

(LONDON, ON) – The Windsor Express couldn’t seal the deal and will host Game 7 of their semi-final series tomorrow evening. The Express never got over the hump, being stymied by London 84-79 in Game 6 of the NBL semi-final series Saturday night.

Windsor trailed by only one at the half, but could never take the game over, falling behind the Lightning 18-17 and 20-17 in the third and fourth quarters, respectively. Chris Commons had 20 points for the Express, who are deadlocked at 3-3 with London.

Along with that, Windsor got a 17 point, 6 assist effort from Darren Duncan while Garrett Williamson dropped 20 for London. The Lightning are now 3-0 facing elimination in this postseason.

Game 7 will be played on tomorrow evening at the WFCU Centre at 7:00 pm. Tickets for this winner-take-all game went on sale at 12:00 pm yesterday.

You can purchase tickets at the TekSavvy Box Office in the WFCU Centre or by phone at 1-866-969-WFCU. They can also be found online, and all service fees will be waived for online orders.

The winner of Game 7 will face the Island Storm in the NBL Finals after the Storm eliminated the Halifax Rainmen on Saturday, winning the series 4-2.
