Storm Rocks Windsor

(CHARLOTTETOWN, PE) – The Island Storm blasted Windsor 129-104 in Game 3 of the NBL Finals, taking a 2-1 series lead, last night. Windsor actually held a tight 33-32 lead after the first quarter, but the Storm took off in the second, outscoring the Express 36-15 and they never looked back.

The Island Storm sealed the deal with a 32-24 decision in the fourth.

Storm forward, Antonio Ballard led all scorers with 35 points and added 13 rebounds.

DeAndre Thomas posted a 26 point, 8 rebound game for Windsor while Chris Commons had 19 and a game-high 13 rebounds, for a double-double.

A key number in the loss for Windsor was bench scoring as the Island Storm had a 31-12 advantage.

Windsor will look to tie the series on Friday at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown. Tipoff is at 6:00 pm local. Game 5 will be on the Island on Sunday.

Back in Windsor, the Express will be hosting another viewing party, this time at The Fox and Fiddle at 3560 Walker Road.
