By Mike Soulliere

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers wrapped up the pre-season with a 3-0 record at the Oakville Buzz Invitational Tournament. A depleted Clippers team, with only 15 runners available due to sickness, put in an impressive performance Saturday.

The Clippers opened the day with a 4-3 win over the Halton Hills Bulldogs, then knocked off the Mississauga Tomahawks 9-3, and closed out the day by beating the host Oakville Buzz 11-6.

The regular season opens on Saturday April 26 when the Clippers travel to Guelph to take on the Regals. The Clippers will then visit Point Edward on April 30 before returning for the home opener on Saturday May 3, against the London Blue Devils. Game time is 7:00 pm at Forest Glade Arena.
