On A Roll At Half Way Mark

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers edged the Wallaceburg Red Devils 8-5, on Saturday night, in a hard fought defensive battle. The win improves the Clippers to 9-1 at the half way point of the 2014 season, while the Red Devils find themselves at 6-4.

Jarred Riley led the Clippers offence with three goals, while singles were scored by Dylan Riley, Andrew Garant, Ryan Marchand, Trevor Learn, and Brendon Anger. Cooper Cecile made 33 saves for the win in goal.

The Clippers will hit the road for a pair of games with a visit to London on Thursday night, and then a Sunday afternoon tilt in Brampton on June 1.

The Clippers next home game is June 5 when they host the London Blue Devils. Game time at Forest Glade Arena is 7:00 pm.
