Pacers Put Out To Pasture

By Mike Soulliere

(WINDSOR, ON) – It looked like a game of men against boys as the Clippers dominated the Point Edward Pacers, last night at Forest Glade Arena, 21-4.

Brendon Anger scored five times for the Clippers while Ryan Marchand and Trevor Learn scored four apiece. Andrew Garant, Austin Thompson and Patrick Kaschalk scored two goals apiece while singles were scored by Matt Martinello and Chase Kavanaugh.

The Clippers defence allowed only 20 Pacers shots on goal and it was an easy night for goaltender Jacob Corra.

The Clippers will close out the regular season this weekend with a pair of games. The Clippers will host the Mimico Mountaineers on Saturday night at Forest Glade Arena. Game time is 7:00 pm.

The Clippers will then travel up the 401 to close out the regular season on Sunday night in London against the Blue Devils.

The league trade deadline is Saturday and the 15-3 Clippers are actively looking to add one or two pieces for a playoff run.
